It’s a new season for Buffalo football, and By Abigail Lee (BAL) is ready.
As well as the vintage and nostalgic-style Buffalo-focused pieces the brand is known for, owner Abigail Lee wants to ensure the weight of the 2026-2027 season, the first in the new Highmark Stadium, is acknowledged. Many pieces will feature “Season 1” or “Tempus Unum” (season one in Latin) or incorporate the new stadium coordinates.
“We’re getting back to really good capsule pieces that fans can keep for the rest of their lives,” she says. “This is a commemorative season for us, and I want to just bring a little bit of the significance of us being in a new stadium to every piece. A lot of people aren’t going to be able to go to these games now, so any way we can still celebrate this new era of Buffalo football together is important.”
BAL is celebrating its own exciting news, marking its second year being featured in Tops Friendly Market locations across the state and into Pennsylvania. The brand has expanded into 100 stores and counting, a development Abigail calls “a dream come true” for her business that started as a one-woman operation in 2017.
This season, BAL will offer an exclusive tailgating line at Tops. “We are all going to have to become parking lot legends,” Abigail says of the changes to Bills football. “Tailgating is going to be bigger and better than ever before, and I don’t want people to forget that.”
BAL’s online boutique features prices that reflect the fact that every piece is hand-made. The items in the Tops line are offered at more affordable price points—think $19.99 and $39.99—but retain the creativity.
“With Tops, we’ve tried to still bring that specialness and that one-of-one feel, but in a way that can be accessible to everyone,” she says. “We know not everyone can afford to spend $100 on a piece at the NFL shop. If they want a piece made by me, I want them to be able to do that.”
The upcoming football season is just one of several exciting developments for BAL this fall and beyond. Abigail can’t wait to share, but for now, she’s excited to cheer on her beloved Bills.
“I don’t just do this as my job,” she said. “I do this as my passion because I just love our city so much. It’s all about the community for me.”
