Fly me to the moon? Well, not quite, but you’ll get an unbelievable view of it on Patrick’s Rooftop, located at 500 Pearl, along with the spectacular sunsets you can enjoy beforehand while sipping and snacking atop this rooftop bar.
“During the summer, the sun sets over the water creating a stunning view,” said Scott Grant, Operations Director.
Located on the lucky 13th floor, Patrick’s is the highest rooftop bar in Buffalo. Access is via a dedicated elevator.
During the summer, the doors are wide open to allow folks to mingle indoors and out. When temps dip, Patrick’s lights up its four fire pits for guests to gather around.
Because it’s a classy kind of place, Patrick’s asks you spiff it up a little with casual upscale attire. (A welcome reprieve after a year in our Covid slubs.)
“Young professionals from 21 and up enjoy the rooftop bar. It is a tremendous vibe and a great mix of people enjoying the best that Buffalo has to offer,” said Grant.
For handcrafted cocktails, there is a seasonal menu with refreshing concoctions like Blueberry Lemonade and a Guava Cooler. There’s also a rotating frozen drink selection.
Patrick’s also has an extensive beer menu that rotates throughout the summer, and a wine list that features selections for all palates.
If you’re feeling peckish, Patrick’s also features a seasonal menu with bites perfect for eating as you sip, like carnitas, seasonal hummus, shrimp cocktail and fried brie sticks.
For entertainment, Patrick’s mixes DJs along with local solo and duo entertainment.
Industry night is Wednesdays, with five different Stoli drink options, bottle specials and hotel and bowling giveaways.
If you’d like a seat, reservations are available from 4 to 8 p.m. and can be made on the website.
Reservations are also recommended for Patrick’s fabulous Sunday brunch. Served a la carte, the extensive menu features a bit of everything for guests who seek either breakfast or lunch-ish selections. Enjoy something as satisfying as a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant Sandwich or as decadent as a Waffle Flight (chocolate chip, vanilla with berries and vanilla with mascarpone icing). For the healthy folks, the Avocado and Egg features grilled ciabatta, Southwest pepper jam and charred grape tomatoes.
A bottomless mimosa is available, as is a signature bloody mary with homemade bloody mary mix, homemade pickled vegetables, an oyster shooter sidecar and tableside fresh grated horseradish.
With so many great options served along with a showstopping panorama, your summer is sure to take off in a new direction at Patrick’s Rooftop this year.
