The Buffalo Sabres took to the ice against the New Jersey Devils on Friday, Oct. 4. However, the puck drop didn't happen in Buffalo or Newark—it happened in Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, as part of the NHL's Global Series.

The Sabres might have lost 4-1, but that didn't prevent an enthusiastic crowd from turning up at Seneca One to celebrate at Buffalo’s biggest community watch party. It was an action-packed afternoon, featuring merch giveaways, Oktoberfest snacks, photo ops with former players and more.
