Learning of the locale just an hour before the event, guests brought their own elegant picnics to share and enjoyed dancing under the stars following dinner. All proceeds will go to fund breast cancer research and awareness for Susan G. Komen Upstate New York.

Guests gathered at Silo City for an evening of music, dancing, wine and beer, tours of the grain elevators, a silent auction and more for Let There Be Light International’s Solar Celebration on June 18. The event honored grassroots partners in Malawi, Kenya and Uganda who work with the organization to fight climate change and global poverty.

Hawk Creek Wildlife Center held its inaugural Wild Brews fundraiser on June 14, giving attendees the opportunity to get up close and personal with the center’s raptors and other animals, as well as enjoy local brews, live music, food trucks and more. Proceeds will go directly to helping the animals and will further promote wildlife conservation.

The Terrace at Delaware Park served as the perfect backdrop for the popular Bottles & Bites Under the Sun event to benefit the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. In addition to the spectacular view, guests enjoyed some of the best wine, craft beer, locally distilled spirits and gourmet food the area has to offer, along with live music from the Brothers of Invention.

Over 2,000 participants took to the streets and raised over $250,000 in support of breast cancer research, advocacy and patient care at this inaugural event. A survivor breakfast, top fundraiser reception and opening ceremony were held at Buffalo RiverWorks pre-race, with an after-party, DJ and food following.
