May 4: Buffalo Taco & Margarita Fest

Registration/map distribution at Falley Allen, 204 Allen St., Buffalo, from 3-5:30 p.m.
Admission: $25; Event is 21 and over.

Get a jump-start on Cinco de Mayo and hit the streets en masse during this first-ever tour of eight bars and restaurants serving up festive fare and signature margs. May 12: Spring Makers + Shakers Boozy Artisan Market

A little shopping. A little sipping. Repeat. Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Roughly 50 locally owned shops will be selling their wares within the confines of the beautiful Hotel @ The Lafayette. Enjoy free wine and spirits samples as you peruse the merchandise and be sure to head to the build-your-own Bloody Mary and Bubbly bars for some additional luscious libations. May 16: Bid to Build

Support the ultimate makers’ mecca at The Foundry’s annual fundraiser featuring live and silent auction showcasing handmade items by artists in residence. Enjoy great food and drink from local restaurants, watch hands-on demonstrations, punch the prize wall and purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win a Martin House-inspired walnut bicycle.
