716 Picks: What's burning

Linwood Candles

The first few batches of Linwood Candles were prepared on Buffalo-native Amy Lisso’s kitchen stove overlooking Linwood Avenue. The process — from melting the wax, mixing the correct amount of essential oils and slowly hand-pouring each candle – proved a lesson in patience and intention.

Now every premium-grade Linwood candle is handcrafted using U.S.-grown soy wax and cotton core wicks, which create an even, clean burn. Toxin-, paraffin- and phthalate-free, all fragrances are essential oil-infused.
