Since debuting in 2008, the eclectic Los Angeles folk duo HoneyHoney has earned praise for its genre blending style of folk music, pairing its rootsy, well, roots with soul, R&B, jazz and rock from such national publications as Paste magazine, Rolling Stone, NPR and Glide.

After moving on from the now-defunct Lost Highway Records, HoneyHoney signed with Nashville label Rounder Records to release its third full length album, 2015’s aptly titled “3.” The record is a gritty collection of soul-infused Americana, one that the duo will bring to the stage of Buffalo Iron Works on Nov. 10 for a rollicking set of impeccable instrumentation as the musicians continue their autumn tour.

Opening will be raspy Brooklyn singer/songwriter Sonya Kitchell. Tickets are $15 (door, Ticketfly http://www.ticketfly.com/event/968721).
